my one week trip to Oslo

It was hard for me to make a choice for you from all the pictures I took. I ended up with so many pictures that I decided to divide them into several parts. Two for various places of Oslo, one for a boat trip and one for a visit to the Frognerpark. Enjoy! a summer evening on the fjord

An over 100 year old ship took me on a tour through the small islands at the coastline of Oslo. It was a wonderful evening, probably the best one of the week.

Frognerparken

The Vigeland Park is a part of the Frogner Park with over 200 statues by Gustav Vigeland. I never got the chance to visit this park on any trip to Oslo before and I didn't expect it to be so intense as it turned out to be. I am not so fond about sculptures but prefer paintings if it comes to art. These sculptures truely gave me shivers down my spine because they were so strong in their expressions. It was fascinating to watch people interact with the figures. The ones that were made of granite were extremely special, because it felt good to touch them. The surface wasn't rough as you might think, but was warm and almost soft as skin.
